My mission today was to use up my birthday and Christmas gift cards. I had decided to get myself an external hard drive.
I started off at a big Department store only to find out they no longer stocked them, so off I went to my usual Shopping Mall.
I always park in the same area, so I can find my car, but because I was entering from a different direction, I had to park somewhere else.
I have been shopping there for many years, but managed to get myself lost trying to get out of the car park. I was totally disorientated. Not hard to do. Turn me around twice and I'm lost.
And to top it, the stores I went into only had the expensive ones with so much storage, it would take me two life times to fill it.
Mission accomplished,I had found my way out. My last hope for the day, as I was getting quite over the whole experience, was Officeworks, which sells everything you can think of for the home, school or office.
On my way there I missed my turn off and was unable to turn right for miles, so had to keep going until I came to a set of traffic lights, where I had to navigate back in the correct direction of where I was picturing the shop was.
I am now the proud owner of a portable external hard drive, but something tells me I should have got a GPS instead.

When visitors come to The Blue Mountains, this is one of the must do things to see.
The Blue Mountains got it's name by the oil released from the huge number of Eucalyptus trees.
The Three Sisters is a sacred Aboriginal site. Legend says three sisters fell in love with three brothers from another tribe, but inter tribal marriage was forbidden, and a battle ensued.
As the lives of the three sisters were seriously in danger, a witchdoctor turned them into stone to protect them.
He had intended to reverse the spell when the battle was over, but he himself was killed.
As only he was able reverse the spell, the sisters remain in their magnificent rock formation.
There ends my tour guide of somewhere not too far from where I live.

Hope there aren't too many of you out there nursing a sore head.
I myself was very well behaved, only a couple of drinks and the obligatory champas to welcome the New Year in with friends, and home round 12.30.
I have never enjoyed NYE and I'm usually tucked up in bed long before the fireworks go off, but this year my friends in a band were playing at my local, so broke with tradition and went along to dance the night away.
I have a friend arriving tomorrow for a few days, so I probably won't be on here, so I expect a sea of yellow when I log in.

Most of you know that my jumps out of perfectly good planes in the name of fun.
He unwrapped a chocolate today, and there was a saying inside...... If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving is not for you.
I know it's an old one, but what were the chances of him unwrapping
that particular one?

Ok now I'm really pissed off. 
9 attempts at a new Roy does, and none of them have worked.
I have tried all sorts of combinations and none of them are working.
I can get the Roy pic up, but it won't let me use the profile pic.
Help anyone?

I have tried five times to do another blog.
It will not allow me to add the profile photo as well as the one I have taken.
I'm going to leave it for a couple of days, as things always go wrong on here at week ends.
Maybe sixth time lucky.

What do you receive from the company you work for for Christmas?
A company that has so many 00000000000 in profits it makes your eyes water.
What appreciation do you get for coming in your days off because they are always short staffed, and you don't want to let your fellow workers down?
How do they show that they care that you do doubles and then rock up at 6am the next morning to do it all over again?
Any guesses?
Are you dying to find out?
Yes a cheap metal frame that has a plastic backing.
It looks like something you would buy in a $2 shop, and yet they must have felt proud, as the company name was all over the box and inside the frame.
