I am trying to give up smoking......again.
I am on day two of those magic pills. Should take about two weeks for me not to want a cigarette.
I did try them a year or so ago, but stupid me, didn't finish the course. I hadn't been smoking for three months, so thought I had been cured.
A few people I know heve been on them and have had vivid erotic dreams.
I missed out last time, but will be having some early nights, in the hope of not missing out this time.

A tragic end to a life.

On Wednesday my recieved a phone call telling him that a friend lost her life in a horrific accident.
Here was a beautiful young girl on her way back to Uni. Her car broke down, so she called for a tow truck.
He arrived and a truck ran into them killing both Sarah and the tow truck driver.
RIP

Yes I've been away for a few days, well not away but missing from here.
Tuesday afternoon I was playing around on the computer, when it had a giant hissy fit. I thought it was a gonna.
Still not sure what happened, and my has been tearing his hair out trying to get it to work again.
As you can see, I was able to get back on today, but it still needs a lot of work done. So you will have to excuse me, as there is a giant sea of yellow for me to read through. Boy you have all been very busy.

Enough already.
Rained most of December, January and now the prediction for February...is more rain.
My lawn is looking like a jungle, as every time my gets a day off work, it's raining.
Any how, the other day I jumped into my car, well hopped into it coz I've got a sore knee, there was a pool of water on the passengers side that was deep enough for my goldfish to swim around in quite happily.
When I opened the door on that side ( which is the opposite side to you in America and Europe, thought I would remind you, so you didn't think it was the other door), there was a great sloshing sound.
Not knowing the ins and outs of a car door ( won't even mention the engine), I messaged a friend of my sons to ask if he could call around and drill a couple of holes in the bottom of the door to let the water out.
He called me back to tell me that there are already two holes at the bottom of the door and with opening and closing the window, sometimes these holes get clogged up.
I went inside and got two satay sticks and started to remove the built up whatever. In no time I had a tidal wave gushing out.
Lucky for me, the next day was one of our rare hot dry days, so I was able to leave all of the windows open to dry out the soggy mess.
It was nice to get into my car and it not to smell of wet dog ( sorry for all of you lovers, nothing nasty was intended).
But with it pouring again today, the fresh smell won't last long.
Hard to believe a few short years ago, we were going through a drought and had water restrictions.

My clever has won 5 free tickets to a big festival in Sydney, so flew down last night for a few days.
Needless to say I'm very happy.
A week and a half ago, I hurt my knee while doing a class at the gym. And I thought gyms were meant to be good for you.
Because I hadn't been for a while, I just thought the pain was due to me not going for a while.
Anyway, a couple of days later the aches had gone, but I still had a sore knee, and it had swollen up quite a lot, and it had become very painful to walk.
So me thinks I had better head off to the Doctors, thinking he would send me off for an ultra sound, but no, he wanted an X Ray done.
So off to the imaging place I go. The X Rays were supposed to be with the Doctor the next day, and they were going to call me to come in.
I waited and waited, not that I had anything planned for the day, other than trying to sit or lay in a position that didn't hurt, but no call.
The imaging place is just around the corner, so I'm going to call in, and if they are still there, I'm going to pick them up and deliver them myself.
