I have never heard of Treme, so I can't say anything about that, and good luck with the voting, I stopped voting years ago as I just feel it doesn't do any good, I mean look at the last election... And Jean Nate I remember that scent very well maybe a car freshner is in order my friend..

I love Treme! All the characters, sub plots... And the many cameo appearances. Steve Earle is incredible in it. I went to NOLA last April for 5 daze... Great fun town. And if you love the music in Treme, you will absolutely be blown away by the music down there for real. Went to this club called DBA down in the French Quarter. Saw John Boutté perform!! He's the guy singing the theme stone from Treme. But the big musical high for me was the Palmetto Bug Stompers!!! Did you know you can stream music from NOLAs top roots music station. If you are interested in learning more about that lemme know!

I have to research Treme and see if I can watch now. I barely recall Katrina as I was in the middle of a serious illness. Thanks for the binge hint (Virtual Symposium Group) use Virtual Symposium Group

Our primary is tomorrow... I'm amazed at the number of "educated" friends of mine who are either registered independent (in Delaware, our elections are decided at the primary level, we're so small) so can't vote in our closed primaries or are still registered R from when their parents first made them register! That's how we get carpetbaggers and closet trumpians into office here.

Treme went on to my Netflix DVD queue after I went to the French Quarter Music Festival last April...but it takes a long time for things to make their way to the top, so it'll be a while. LOL at Jean Nate - yes, that does sound gross. Thank you for your public service.

My first girlfriend in high school wore Jean Nate and shampooed with Flex. Some things one never forgets.

They still sell Jean Nate??! I haven't watched Treme...I'll add it to my watch list. (I was re-watching Shameless with my kids while I was in Seattle...I got them hooked. Now it's time to find something new to watch.) I missed the Florida primaries...I don't know how I didn't know the date so I could request an absentee ballot! I will be voting in the general. We got our stickers in August and are delighted with the results. Four of the five candidates at the top of the Democratic ticket are women and the fifth is a black man. Become a member now and get a free tote bag.
