She made creature of habit sound like a bad thing. I do my thing as I choose. Not what someones tells me I should do. You are a good dad.
I sorta got that vibe too.. Thanks, I can only do my best.

I enjoy spontaneity, but i do fit in well with the things that some would say are "habits".

If you enjoy it...then why change? We used to do "Friday Night Dinners" as a family, extended family. It was a tradition, not a habit. Some of my children's favorite memories are Friday Night Dinners.

There are certain things I like a certain way, so I guess I am creature of habit, to an extent. But, I am also working to try new things on a regular basis.
I think, like with most things in life, balance is the key. Leaning too far to one side, only makes us fall over.

I have to say I am a bit of a creature of habit although I do like to try new things, but I also like to stick with what I know is good I hope you have a great weekend..
I think that's a healthy attitude. I hope so, cause that's pretty much how I look at it too. ...

Hope you have a great weekend Trzz

I have had fun trying the new wines..and not spending gobs of money on Bordeaux. Not to mention, the wine steward asked if I was aging the Bordeaux's I bought. I told her, of course. The ones I buy on Thursday, usually sit all the way until Saturday night. From her look, I don't think that's what she meant.

But I've found some Argentina and French Malbec's that are tasty. A great Petite Syrah, and a Spanish blend that both are good "drinking" wines.

Like it was mentioned by SeaGirl, I think balance is always a good thing, in most parts of our live's

I've heard of Gnarly Head. Might even have had their cab. I'll have to check out some of the Bogle wines.

Thanks for the tip.

I'm not much of a creature of habit....more like rather unpredictable. I'll try anything once and having tried sushi once you can keep it....I don't like it at all.

As for wines....I rarely drink now as it interferes with Warfarin but I suggest you find a Chilean Merlot....a very nice wine and not too expensive.

The thing with sushi, is it's versatile. If you don't like eating it, you can always use it for bait.

Made a note on the Chilean Merlot. I'll give it a try.

I find it odd that you refer to having sex with only women as habitual. I would look at it more as a preference.

Am I a creature of habit - You betcha. There are a few restaurants where everything on the menu sounds delicious - but I still keep ordering the same thing. Until the other day - instead of ordering a Grilled Chicken Breast Sub, at SUBWAY, I ordered a hot chicken wrap.

Look at that ! Living dangerously, wasn't I?

I talk, in my profile about trying new cuisines. But here, in this rinky dink little town, there are rare opportunities to even find any. I look forward to doing more traveling, so I can "expand my horizons" in more ways than 1.

I may even try Haggis, while I am in Scotland. Now, THAT would be really S T R E T C H I N G the 'trying a new cuisine".

Check out my profile or and become a "watcher" of my blog FMAOPLS,to learn more about me, and for intelligent, lively, smartassy and fun discussion, with a little irreverence thrown in. "Like" or comment on my photos, and I promise I'll add more. Thanks.

You're right, it is a preference. I was just using it to make a point.

I think 'stretching" it can be a good thing at times. And new stuff is always open to me...I try to keep an open mind.

But there are some things, I tend to stick with.
