Come here often? This profile of mine is relatively new. About one and a half years old. My first profile had a name that contained my age when I was a younger man..so I didn't think it was fitting. Didn't feel like paying to have the name change..and hell, I'd been gone for over a year. So I made this one. Anyways, been on and off the site, for about 7 years or so. At 96, I can't really remember when I first joined. I'm just happy to remember my login name.  Anyway, I've only been blogging on here for 2.5months. When I was on before, I hung out around the advice line. It was a hoot. Sorta like it is here, only shorter posts. Like the Cliffs Notes version maybe. Some great people, some trolls. Some great conversations, some...well lets just leave it as not so great. And as I'm sure happens here as well, people came and went. Some would drop back in, some you never heard from again. I notice at times, there is some friction among bloggers. That's another thing that seems the same as the advice line. LOL I try to just stay out of those, as well as the political posts. Pretty sure, there is no winner in any of the blog battles. No way you'll ever get agreement on anything political, here or in the world. But I do believe in everyone's right to post what they want. Hell, even the dick pics But over all, I have found the blogs to be populated with some great people. Lot's of bloggers that I've come to enjoy interacting with. Funny, witty, deep, informative. Hell, what's not to like. Anyways, wanted to take a moment and thank all of you for some really fun conversations. For listening to me ramble around at times. For giving me new information to discern, and at times, making me rethink some of my perceptions and thoughts. Have also wondered how long some of you have been blogging. And what made you start. I was just going to use it as a place to post some songs, I've written. But with the writers block, I haven't posted one in a while. LOL. Happy Tuesday and just let me say you looking amazing for 96. And you know this is always going on around the site I am getting sick of it too. I mean we all share good and bad things about our lives, and people can comment if they choose too, or they can just pass on it. You know I was brought up with the quote "If You Don't Haven Anything Nice To Say, Then Say Nothing At All"!! I think that's personally what should be the theme for blog land because no matter what you do or say it's going to PISS OFF someone..  .And thank you for always sharing your interesting blogs with us as I find them quite interesting and at time quite entertaining as well ( example the driving blog) ..I hope you enjoy the rest of your day.. Seduce the mind and see what a wonderful adventure the body will take you on..

Not much of a blogger myself, been here for about 6 years, come on the site just for entertainment, Lucked up about 3 years ago with one of the site's beautiful ladies and have continued with a great group of friends , most nights listening to music videos and chatting, my first Blog about 3 years ago, just something to fill in the empty page in front of me, and since have found another nice group of people; educated, skilled, most of the time nice to each other, just another facet of these sites, Plato, Young Man you are one of the top, real, thoughtful, easy to understand, just enjoy watching you put your mind on paper. all I can say is keep on keeping on.. I started blogging 8.5 years ago. I had been on the site with another handle since 2004. One day I was bored and discovered the local blogs.....at that time we had a fair number of Irish bloggers and I enjoyed reading them for a while.....but never commented. I decided I could do it too...created a new handle and started blogging. For a few years I posted on a daily basis. Nowadays I blog less and keep a much lower profile. I never bothered with the advice lines .... a little too much drama there for me. As for the constant rumblings here on the blogs....I do my best to avoid them, there will always be people who open their mouths before engaging their brains.....however the current differences aren't a patch on some of the blog wars there have been over the years. I must say that making your acquaintance has been an absolute pleasure ~~Anais Nin~~

I am sharing a part of me, thru my blog and I'm using it as a creative tool. I prefer short stories but they're not suitable for a blog. I've trimmed things down. Yet, I still don't have the time, patience or urge to blog daily. My blog now, just blurs the reasons why I joined this place... which come to think about... I've forgotten. Yes... some people are nice here, some aren't. Why do I blog? It's a tiny island of bloggers and, for now - I seem to be on it. I'll find those boats, one day... perhaps. I've enjoyed your posts...and I think that's a great reason to blog. Sometimes I have stuff just rumbling around in this head of mine, and it helps to write it down. LOL. Hell, I gave up trying to hear anything while I was still in my 80's. But I have my Acme Super Magnifying Glass out, so I could read what you said. Glad you stopped in. When I first dipped my toes into the mysterious land of blogville, I did so without paying a whole lot of attention to all the comings and goings, the 'rules' or the hierarchy. It's been interesting to watch the evolution (the good and the bad) of the participants, content and my own participation. For now, it provides a creative outlet and the ability to sharing interesting tidbits. No idea what the future holds and that in itself keeps me engaged.
