Where the hell did that come from?

Where the hell did that come from? I was having a conversation with a fellow blogger the other day and she asked if I wrote blogs elsewhere. Also where did I get my idea's from and did I have a bunch of stuff I write in advance and then pick which one to post. My first thought was, "Wow, that would be a great idea".  I just sorta make this stuff up as I go along. Truth is, while I tend to plan things in life, my blog isn't one of them...well besides maybe the HNW ones. I have to see the theme and then come up with a plan. I was a English Major, with a Psych minor, in college. I'd like to say it was because I was interested in writing for a living. Truth is, writing always came easy for me. Hell I wrote all my older brothers English papers for him through high school and College. But the truth is, I picked it because I really went to College just to party, and I figured it would take the least amount of effort. Couldn't have anything interfering with my sure fire career as a Rock Star.( yeah, it failed haha)But it got me to thinking how do others Blog? I just usually have a thought during the day, I read something that intrigues me. Should I be admitting that out loud? Am I still being that lazy student.. Or I start thinking of some conversation I had, like this one, and I sit down and write. As one can probably tell, from the grammatical errors, or the bouncing around, it's just typed out like talking. So I figured I'd ask on here. Do you plan out your blogs. I see some of you follow a "theme". Some are small descriptions of their lives. Do you have a list of blog posts, that you've written in advance, then peruse to decide which to post today. I fly as I lift off don't plan too far ahead I do think of what I may write on occasion that people will find interesting I dislike writing about sex and posting pic just because and I think most know by now that I am no big fan of things that have very little or no substance..I feel personally that if someone is going to write a blog and enjoys it and good at it they shouldn't waste talent on trivial things like we already can see here every day, not trying to offend anyone by saying this but well depends on who reads this , people tend to get nose out of joint over trivial things anyway..present company excluded..lol..

LOL....that is still a plan. I hadn't really given it much thought, until I got talking about it. I guess they're are bloggers ..other sites mainly, that put a lot of thought and planning into their blogs. I'm just here for the fun. Years ago I used to plan my posts....and used to spend a long time writing them. They were mainly posts about my emotions....the story of a love affair that went wrong. These are all deleted now in fact they were written under an old profile which is gone too. I don't have as much spare time these days and definitely don't plan my posts at all with the exception of rare posts about my early life. Over the past couple of years I have developed concerns about what I share both here and on FB as I rarely post anything personal there now either. ~~Anais Nin~~

I started off writing erotic stories and found out that punctuation, spelling and 3 syllable words r such a waste of effort over 'there. I then began posting the stories on my blog, but found that NO ONE, has the patience to readi any long posts. I now write random stuff. Sometimes planned and other times not. Whatever catches my eye or ear and feels easy to write. I don't have the time to blog daily. It's what it is... It's a relief to read of someone else who just comes up with an idea, and "wings it", like I do. I have to admit that many times, I've thought of something or an idea is triggered by reading someone else's post or comment, and I think "hmmm, I should write about that". I even had a list of subjects for future blogs at one time. But, by the time I went back to look at the list, I had "lost the thought", or my passion about the subject had disappeared. And then, all I was left with was a Big, Huge Blank I envy those who can come up with an idea ahead of time, write it out, correct all the grammatical and spelling errors, and have it ready for posting later. That is just NOT me. When I get in "deep thinking mode", I just have to write it all down and post it right away - and that is why you might often see 2 or 3 posts from me, all in 1 day.  And Get This - there are some bloggers out there who profess to know what day and time of day is BEST for adding a new post to ensure it gets to the "New Blog List" and is seen by the maximum number of viewers. Now, THAT is far too organized for me. Hmmm - could that be my problem? I'm not organized? I rarely plan it out. The exception to this will be when I return to posting the United States in the order they joined the Union- that's detailed and labor intensive. I also google doc log the data I research on the Canadian Provinces before I post. The rest of my blogs are done on the fly, research and pics. Planning? What's that? I write when the mood hits, about what the mood hits. Sometimes, I have a blog idea that rattles around in my head for a while before ever getting written. I don't write the idea down which *sigh* I should because I've forgotten a lot of ideas along the way. I try to keep some sort of sex/dating connection but not always. I mix stories and poetry. HNW is an entirely different thing. Once an idea pops into my head, I plan very carefully on how to bring it to 'life'. Opportunity may knock only once, but temptation bangs on the door forever!

I can't even imagine you going off on a tangent...no really. You have some great blog posts, but you also shine in deepening the discussion with your responses. You always have such interesting blogs which I enjoy reading. Sometimes I plan mine out ahead of time and then sometimes this place gives you ideas.. I am thinking about writing a blog elsewhere myself but I will see how that pans out. And I say go ahead and write some blogs elsewhere if you like as you have some amazing things on your blogs that you write about. Hope your Friday has been a good one.. What? I'm supposed to write my blogs down? Well crap.... Maybe that's why I haven't been getting any responses to them! I think of blog posts, but just haven't been inspired to write any of them down lately. Of course, there was that one day....eons ago...when I almost broke the blogs here by posting 4 times in one day. I'm still waiting for everyone to recover from it. Who knows...maybe I'll post something before the end of the year.  Pagan  Hmmmm....I know I left that wand around here somewhere!

I've done it both ways. Last spring and early winter, I was planning them ahead, writing them out, then posting later. Mostly it was because there was a lot of shit in my head and if I didn't write it down, I'd lose it.  Recently, it's just writing off the cuff. And usually just the randomness of what ever is floating around in my head. Erotic stories are completely different. They take weeks. And the right mood...and usually are inspired by someone. I am thinking about writing a blog elsewhere myself but I will see how that pans out.
