 My mom was diagnosed with Breast Cancer over 20 years ago. Still alive and kicking at 83, thank god.

I like the story of when the doctor was telling her the options she had. When he said the odds of a occurrence would go down significantly if she had a mastectomy, her response was, "well hell, lop that thing off, I'm not using them anymore". That's my mom.

 Such a cute tush! I would like to squeeze your Charmin(my term for a guy's cute butt)! I am relieved to hear that your Mom is a breast cancer survivor. Hugs. I have had my own pesky problem with my boobs. In 2015 I had two cysts removed from my breasts, one was sebaceous and the other was fibroid cyst I guess. The cysts were on top of each other. I ended up having one excised in the Emergency Room one night. It was quite the experience and it produced a great poem titled A Sensitive Area. My doctor's name was Brett Simpson. Yup, I asked him the obvious...do people confuse his name and call him Bart Simpson? At that moment he was holding a huge needle with lidocaine in his hand and he replied, "You do know I have a needle in my hand?" We all laughed(the doctor, the nurse and myself). I have only had one issue since then when I had something that felt like lumps(breast self exam) so I saw the doctor and they scheduled an ultrasound. The crux of the matter was that hormones and caffeine can interact to cause hardness and discomfort. Yay. Coffee does not cause cysts.

At least you're good about getting the abnormalities checked out. Lumps can be quite common, but you still need to get them all checked.

Good news on the coffee, I don't know what I'd do without some coffee. haha
