 Thanks! Tough day today too as we all had the weekend to ponder the future. Luckily I had some distraction over the weekend to take my mind off the situation...

 When one is old enough to be an AARP member, one wonders how long their job will last, and if they will get another job or have to retire early.
I remember being an IT consultant at one company. The management came through one day and took every IT employee's company owned device. Everyone in the company depending upon calling IT folks on their cell phones, especially when the employees were driving to the parent company several hours away. Suddenly the IT employees were unreachable, and since the consultants were the only folks left with cell phones, we were the only folks who were reachable until they decided to let us go.

 just reading this post now, having worked through two different types of take overs, I can understand your anxiety. I hope every thing has worked out ok.

 BS like this is one of the main reasons I started my own company when I was 20. Sadly, many companies play this game with their employees. Hopefully, everything works out for you in a positive way!
