Seeking Women’s Opinions
Seeking Women’s Opinions What I’m looking for is women’s input on what guys write in their profiles. What I think I know is; be honest, women in general don’t want penis pics (lots of comments on profiles about that), and one profile won’t attract all cause women aren’t all the same. Do you believe what men write, or do you figure some/most/all of it is bs? What do you really want to know about a guy from his profile? Do men’s profiles seem to all look the same (cookie cutter, adjective filled) after a while? Many women’s profiles say the same fairly obvious things; want fun (in and out of bed), love to laugh, easy going, down to earth, open minded, adventurous. I’m good with getting general input or, if you want to comment on my profile specifically that is welcomed too. FWIW, there are few female members in the area I live (northern AZ) so I usually contact women in the Phoenix area (about 90 miles away) so I know distance is an issue. I read the profiles (yes really) and send messages (respectful, nothing crude or stupid), but not a lot of responses. I also know there are women who don’t like beards and who prefer black guys. I don’t expect every one to respond, but I would be more inclined to pay again if more did. On the other hand, I’ve been here, off and on, for a little over a year now. Once I’m on the phone with someone things have gone pretty well. I’ve called and met 4 women (0 now shows). Thank you. When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro. The only thing we have to fear is fear itself. |

I read the first line and my obvious turn offs are: Just got out of a relationship and looking to have some fun Looking for NSA Looking for FWB Looking for FWB and if it grows into more then be it Any any man that states he wants couples. I think that a lot of people scratch because they forget age issues and body preference. A woman that weighs 120 pounds will specifically say it in her profile that she likes big men. But if she doesn't odds are that she doesn't. I'm a single mom of 2 toddlers. A 57 year contacts me, and I factor in is it realistic in a long term scenario. Hope I made sense. And would wish you luck, but hell it seems you're doing good all on your own. lmao Good for you.

I prefer when the guy obviously does a little more than just "pick what fits you" auto-create. A little humor, a bit of a peek at the man behind the photo (if there's a photo) helps a lot.

What generally draws me to a man's profile is not the many virtues he says he has....I'll likely discover those on my own if we meet. Most of the adjectives that people use....well, we all believe those things about ourselves, don't we? For example, a guy might write: I have a great sense of humor. But then his profile is written in a very serious manner. Ummm, where's that sense of humor? Write something funny. Or he might say he is adventurous in the bedroom. Please give some sort of example of that....tell a bit of a story. Make it personal. Make your profile uniquely you. Your profile is well written. That is great. But most of what you say....isn't very personal. You like music. Holy shit, I like music too!! And you are like food and movies? Wow!! Me too. I guess we are a match!! *grin* I'm just teasing you a bit but, see what I mean here? How about saying the music I've been listening to most lately is_____________________. Or talk about the last dining experience you had ...name the restaurant (or at least the kind of food it serves) and what you liked or didn't about it. Giving specifics like that makes you both more real and more approachable. You write well....half the battle....
