 sorry to say, with the internet being what it is, more people have access to whatever they want.

Playboy will indeed be a thing of the past.

 There will still be a market for hard copy printed magazines, IMHO. Very few average folks have the equipment, ink and paper to self-print high quality glossies at home.

A great disappointment, that decision is. Hef might as well stop all together.

I would suspect Playboy is already printing far fewer copies than they did in the past. This decision will slow sales even more.

I disagree. It's just a matter of time before printed periodicals will be remembered fondly as a quaint bit of Americana, like buggy whips, clincher tires and button hooks.
