It's been six months since my last lover... so, I reached out to another on FB... It's been six months since my last lover... so, I reached out to another on FB... I was reading a post today by a blogger I've not read before... I thought it was going to be truly about missing someone... but, it wasn't... it was a kind of tongue-in-cheek post about two lovers in wonderful bodies believing that they would be missing that if, only they both didn't like cake so much... Well, that got me thinking of my last lover... yes, I broke it off... she was a wonder woman... she pleased me like no other woman has before... but, she lied... so, after reading the post about 'missing you' and then another post by a blogger I like to read in Tennessee, I thought I can write something that is not erotic... I have before... I used to write Haikus... then I stopped, partly because the one that inspired me did something I didn't like... so, I started writing erotic blogs... no harm, no foul... and, you can say that some of you is in those posts... but, more hope and fantasy than reality... for this post, I thought about my past lover and the a lady that I had not been with in 2 1/2 years... Perhaps, the distance was too much for her... she moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico a few years ago to take care of her parents... both, suffering from different types of cancer... initially, we travelled to see each other... she came to visit me in Dallas, Fort Worth and once in Houston... I would fly to Albuquerque where she is... I'll have to say it can get brutally cold in the winter time... OMG... but, the trips were worth it... I sent her a friend request the other day, and after a few days, she accepted... she's not written me anything, but, I posted a link to one of my fav songs on her page... you may recall, that I mentioned a lover in the past that luved only country and western music when we first met... well, this was her... she now is open to lots of different genre's. she used to ask me to cut cds for her... 'cause she liked what I liked... I had texted her on her birthday back in January and she reminded me how much she liked the music... she said while she was driving to work every morning, about 30 miles one way, that she would crank thru one of them and rotate them during the week... I liked that... it told me that she truly did like the music and, maybe she thought about me... but, the distance is still there... I don't want to intrude on her life... she didn't like to take pics... but, as she had my friend request, I looked thru her pages and found one she posted last month... her niece was a hair stylist now and had offered to do her hair... it came out nice... she looks good... happy... a smile that said to me 'she is at peace...' maybe there is someone else... perhaps, she needs to be left alone... On another post tonight, I posted that in I've not always been this way... what way is this you ask? it is my way, one that goes gentle... not demanding... not too selfish... easy going... I'm no saint; I'm not a knight in shining armor... I won't save anybody... people save themselves... I just see people... I'm a people person, sure, I'll pet a dog... but, I'm not a pet person... someone asked me what my fav pet was... I asked if a pet rock counted... My music keeps me company when other things fail... When I first read the title, I thought damn! Wish I knew you were looking again, I would had put a good word in......... then I started to read your post, and about the distance problem, and it gave me a knot in my throat..........there is no hope, don't know why I'm surprised.... Nice blog, it showed the human side of you, I like it!!!   WITHOUT PASSION LIFE IS NOTHING

Every now and then, I will post these tidbits like others posting about what they are all about... our little place where we can speak, and, then reflect... and, wait for comments, and then reflect.... it doesn't have to be immediate and, often is not... but, others then, get the chance to think, ponder, maybe have a cup of coffee and then respond... sometimes, I do that too!!! thanks again...
