What if AFF had real contests?

What if AFF had real contests? Yes, that's what I said: 'What if LesbianPersonals had real contests? By real contests, I mean... real contests... Let's say they get a marketing department... What a novel idea... and, they partner with businesses that might be interested in such a venture... I'm sure that there are plenty of businesses out there that would jump at the chance... And, then, their marketing department actually solicited ideas from their customers, ideas like this: have a contest for the greatest blog ever written... Oh, we have that, say you... but, this blog has a catch or two to it... I mean if it were easy, would all the queens be queens, and all the princes be princes... no, it's not easy... so... Blog contest once to twice a year... winner gets a real prize... like a set of toys or chains or whatever makes sense... maybe a trip to sin city... I don't know... get creative.... what's the catch, only people that haven't commented or liked the blog can vote on it... this would stimulate many more blogs and it would generate phenomenal interest by those that don't... Now, couple this with... wait for it... wait for it... soft sell marketing for additional promotional material... have a contest for the greatest 'moment' pic... Once or twice a year... same types of conditions, but, get creative on the prizes... have a contest for the greatest 'LesbianPersonals moment' maybe do like some sites do, where if you take a pic with LesbianPersonals on it from some exotic location... you win a prize... yay!!! I mean, there could be more ideas out there.. Last time, I filled out a survey, I got a thank you note... that's it... What your be your criteria for a blog contest? I think this site has done the vacation photo contest, or something similar with including your username in the pic. But the prize is more like a one month gold membership. Don't think this site would spend much money to reward one person among people who are already members. To me they need a better variety of items to spend your points on. Would anyone buy a toy emblazoned with the LesbianPersonals logo? A riding crop with this sites name stamped in the leather? Just saying... There is a gentleman on this site who coordinates a blogger's symposium every so often. There are not any prizes but it's enjoyable to be assigned a topic and then read other peoples contributions. Last month was my first time to participate and I do plan to continue to do so in the future. His username is humorlife.

Contests should be exciting and not necessarily about popularity. That was one of my points to level the playing field and stimulate interest. My grandmother won the 'fuck me like a...' Blog contest and all I got was the tee... You know what I mean. Creativity... One of my fav sayings to people is 'welcome to the 21st century.
