Common sense insanity

I used to be the king of common sense. If it made more sense to do one thing rather than another, I did the more logical and practical thing. Then it seemed that all my tasks were fruitless, because they would unravel before my eyes. Then I would tell myself; "But to do it any other way would be insane!!!" As time went on, I kept trying to maintain my hold on common sense. It is when I braced the free wheeling insanity that I realized it was just as futile. So now I embrace Common Sense insanity. It is common sense sprinkled with adaptive insanity. For instance, though I prepare for a trip somewhere by mapquesting as well as putting it into my GPS, there are things you cannot expect, such as insane drivers, slowdowns when rubbernecking and accident, so I drive my GPS crazy by going off the beaten path even though I don't know where I am. Frequently heard is .....recalculating. Now if only I can teach it to swear and cuss. The point being, use common sense, but have no fear to have life do some recalculating.

 I love my GPS. Especially when it forces me to recalculate.... I don't always update it and... sometimes. roads are closed.. LOL
