.... life is a journey... sometimes easy, sometimes difficult.... what I have learned is that inner peace starts within... being easy on yourself enables others to be easy with you.... its the snowball effect... let it roll downhill ... it gets bigger and gathers strength ... it also helps to have good partners in play that are supportive and have very strong streaks of curiosity ... hope to hear all about your reawakening and adventures... in whatever forum they emerge...

It's funny how your mind is your worst enemy. It sounds like both of us need to learn to be so hard on ourselves. I do not want to settle due to loneliness I just want to learn to accept myself. In order to get to the light one must pass thru the dark. However, from one survivor to another, you are never alone. When you look into the mirror say to yourself “ I may not see it now But hope is with me” because no matter how difficult, rough, or painful it becomes hope is there always sending us a message when we need it the most. All we have to do in order to hear is stop and listen to the message itself. Also, if you stop Focusing on “ finding” someone or something... you won’t, Yet the moment you stop looking ? Is when you will “ find” the very person or thing you are looking for.

When I first read this post it was the last days of the year and I was experiencing similar thoughts. It was hard for me to come up with something positive to say. Reading your words though helped as I knew I was not alone in my dark moments, and that made it ok. Now, I don't know if that was a good thing or a bad one, to feel 'connected' in that way. It did make me think deeper about myself, and for that I am grateful that you spoke out loud and shared these difficult emotions. Hopefully the new year will be a better one for all of us. (off to comment on your next post)
