What Pistol Are You Bringing?

Due to recent changes in state law, my coworkers (licensed) may now sport their hardware to work in a holster starting Monday. I'm curious to see just how many nut jobs are going to walk in with a gun on their hip. So what are you packing on Monday?
Smith & Wesson
Sig Sauer
Glock
Kimber
Side Holster
Shoulder Holster
Ruger
Colt
None of the above

Why do you call them nut jobs?

It feels kinda like a test. They mean it but they don't REALLY mean it. Would you risk getting fired, not for the gun of course, but over some trumped up crap that prevents you from getting another job?

Honestly, I wish Illinois had that law ( we have "conceal and carry", once you've completed a course ).......I've gone into some "bad" areas, and had to work..........I'd feel MUCH better if I was legally "packing", at least it gives you half a chance...........apparently you're not a gun owner, and there's nothing wrong with that.....but......
........not all gun owners are "nut jobs" either. Granted, there are some people who shouldn't own guns, but there are people with the common sense, to treat their right to own a gun, with discretion, and knowing when and when NOT to exercise their right to pull and use a gun.

I'm not a gun hater, let's say hypothetically you worked somewhere with "health" in the name? Guns aren't healthy, they don't want you bringing guns to work.

I'm sure many supervisors who are packing are gonna get a... "Yes sir! Right away sir!" lol

Guns are inanimate objects. It takes a human to operate a gun like any other machine.
Guns are neither healthy nor unhealthy. It's the unhealthy human who shoots people. There was two times my gun kept me from harm. But, Open Carry is a fad for most and will betcha money after two weeks most will go back to Concealed Carry. It's nice to have self-protection.

BTW......the name brand is spelled Ruger not Reuger

"hardware" "packing" & "nut jobs" - what? Yep, I shoot too!
Seriously being from outside the USA it is beyond my comprehension why Americans are allowed to legally carry any gun!!!

I don't live in Texas so I can't directly answer your question. If I did I still wouldn't open carry. IMHO it only draws attention to yourself. That's the last thing I want. I've had a concealed carry permit for over 30 years and used to conceal carry years ago ... even in banks and at work but times have changed.

Oh ... weapon of choice S&W Model 29 .... that's a 44 Magnum BTW ... and three full speed loaders in my coat pocket. 24 rounds of full bore rock-n-roll.

I have a conceal carry and I carry everyday, no one at my job knows, the way I figure, I am not going down with out a fight.

I have had the right to conceal carry in New York for years. I don't brag or flash it.
