Kick in the nuts

It appears my pride has been hurt a little. I shared a poem on here that has been viewed 3 times while someone else posted one that was viewed 32 times. Slight difference in the number there. So it has occurred to me that one of two things has happened....one: I have the wrong plumbing to attract attention....or two: I just don't have large enough muscles/plumbing to attract attention. Then of course it could be an obvious answer like no one on here wants to read a poem, they would rather read a dirty story which I don't have any but could probably write one. Any opinions on this matter would be helpful.

don't try and compete with others ,, it never works and always leads to disappointment
keep writing your own things ,, be true to you and the right people will find your blog
go for quality not quantity ,, truly it is the only way

 I agree with Scarlet. Just enjoy writing your thoughts on here. I do and I really don't care if I get a comment or none but I enjoy what I created/thought of and that is good enough for me. You will find your audience. There are a lot of bloggers that really just aim for popularity. You can't compete with that.
