No Crossing Business with Fornication (or Compartmentalized Existence)

Others here might be comfortable with getting to know people at work in the Biblical sense (no offense meant to those of different religions, just a phrase), but I can't imagine Casual Friday being replaced with Hot Naked Wednesday where I work. We don't have Casual Friday yet.

I avoid most social activities with coworkers and others I know through work. I wouldn't tell any of them that I blog on this site, though I never mention who I work for, what I do, or any work experiences. I just don't share that much of my personal life with people I would rather keep at arm's distance. Getting naked and having a wild and uninhibited sexual encounter with someone who will pop up while you are working isn't the best of ideas in a professional setting. It is definitely sharing more information about me than I would care to in a drunken mist of openness.

Imagine attending a meeting with someone who failed to make you orgasm. Or even someone who made you cum 40 times over an amazing long weekend? I don't imagine either as a comfortable scenario. Would seeing the man who wanted to watch gay porn before you had sex be more or less palatable in the workplace? I'm sexually accepting of a number of odd desires and have helped a man or two fulfill them, but that is the fun of being in the moment sexually. At work, I'm working. Flirting is vague at best and never meant to lead anywhere. Or you have the extremely uncomfortable meeting after a weekend you would never discuss with anyone else.

Name, rank and serial number. Even the Geneva Convention doesn't require that I share more. At work, it only makes sense.

I pinky swear.

I did it once....
Once with a co-worker.. it was alright, for the first three days. We hooked up after the Christmas party, and everyone knew. It was wild raunchy sex with a female superior and everyone knew it.
We ended the affair after a month of hushed whispers that stopped abruptly when either of us walked into the room. Allegations were made about my apparent preferential treatment. Jokes were made at her expense and we ended it.
Ever since, I've never gotten involved with a female co-worker. Which works just fine.
