The things you overhear


So I go into Starbucks yesterday. This is not a normal thing for me as I personally am not a coffee drinker. But my wife loves the Very Berry whatever the hell it is (which I order as "A medium Very Berry Tea thing" and the lady at the counter knows what I am asking for), so I am in there ordering one for her to take to her at work.

As I am in line there is a couple behind me and a guy walks up to them and says Hi. Brief small talk that he has not been waiting lone. The Male goes to sit with him while the female goes on to order drinks.

As I am waiting for the Very Berry whatever it is, the guys are at the table near me. They are the one from the couple states he is 42, and the other guy says he is only 36 and new to all of this. The lady comes to the table and they are talking about how happy they are to meet and what their home is like.

I just want to be clear that I am not trying to eaves drop, but the place was crowded and I was standing right there. As they are talking about figuring out who they want to meet with online the Very Berry thing came up and I decided it would be best to move on.

 Now this meet could have been anything from meeting a potential babysitter or dog walker, but I can fill in my own blanks and have a more interesting story. What do you think?

 Go with your gut. These days, it seems more and more people are doing this more publicly and becoming comfortable with people in restaurant settings before moving things to home and bed. Let your mind wander a bit, you're probably on the right track from the sound of it.

 I like eaves dropping. you can hear some pretty hot stuff.
I don't go out of my way to do it but I wont walk away from them opening next to me...
