CBW- Why I Love the Great White North, Eh!
In honor of Canadian Bloggers Week, I thought I'd pay tribute to my favorite vestige of Canadian life! We have a place in a little town called Ignace, Ontario (blink, and you'll miss it). The fishing is so good that we brave the 13 hour drive with two , two dogs and a Hornet (the Mother-in-Law) to spend a few weeks up there every summer.

No trip to Ignace is complete without a trip to the LCBO for cheap booze and a copy or two of the free Food & Drink magazines that they distribute every month. It's a boon for a foodie like myself- great recipes and tons of drink combinations we'd never think to put together unless we were already drunk, lol.

Here's to the Canucks and the second best method of staying warm that I can think of!!


When it comes to sex, I need a STRONG connection. Otherwise, the page just keeps buffering and takes FOREVER to load...

 Lol...hey! I've been to Ignace...its not that far from Winnipeg. And you have to blink twice to miss it...smallest town in Canada? Not even close...lol. But I do like that you like Canada...

i spent 11 years near canada. 45 minutes away from the border.
i was thankful for molson and labatt's which i preferred to most american beers (but not all, ok?)...
we don't get many canadian imports in greece. with one notable exception: maple floor boards. absolutely beautiful.

 as a canadian i will take credit for the booze and the amazing fishing. i feel it is my duty to take credit for all the good things that happen once you cross the border. i will not take credit for nickelback though. they are aliens from another planet.
