While the content is what I make sure to read in the profile, you do not get to know the real person from the profile, until you get a chance to chat with them.

Profile content can give you the outline of the person and what they are like.The photo can give you their looks. A good sense of humour is a must,to be able to laugh and joke is a good way of relaxing. But i prefer to be able to chat to the person,because you may like the photo the profile and sense of humour but you might never get on with that person in reality. The photo. Just like in real life, the initial attraction is visual. If the lady in the photo attracts me, I then read the content to see if we might be interested in each other. Then, it's email or chat to start talking.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts! I just came on here to search for a friend maybe I can have something in common with on here. To me, Attractiveness does not come from beauty. It comes from confidence, an inner light, integrity, pride, respect, understanding, sense of wonder, forgiveness and humor. The bodies are just the outer shell, somewhere to put our souls. What matters is what is inside each of us...the thoughts, the dreams, the beliefs, the characteristics. I Enjoy talking with people here that are different than myself, without any ulterior motives, or expectations. I learn alot that way, looking to make friends, but not to endorse peoples profiles by accepting "friend requests" Unless we have actually talked with each other. I kind of like real conversation about real stuff, I'm not very good with endless flirts and mail. The confusion lies in the definition of "chat." LesbianPersonals has a chat room that I hear is a lot of fun, and is usually what people are referring to when they mention "chat". There is also the PM feature, which most of us ignore, especially when the PM requests are unsolicited. A friend of mine on here advised me of a good rule to go by. It was cam/film up or shut up. If you don't have a cam/film, to show thyself, I probably won't waste my time. Regards, SaphireJohns

After reading some of your blogs, which are interesting, you seem to be well informed and have a mind and actually use it. I meet a lot of people who don't or don't know how to think for themselves.It is always fun and interesting to talk to people who can think. Would enjoy talking sometime if you would like. J

Dear J, Besides the piano, the mind is a very powerful sexual organ, more should use it to their advantage. The Internet gives one the chance to travel across the World, meeting people and learning about different cultures. Therefore, lets take advantage of that possibility. There are not perfect people. It is easy to "paint" a picture of a different person. When things come to reality we get disappointed. The Internet can be either a place to share honest feelings or a place for ambiguous mistakes. As far as I am concerned, I am willing to search true people and show them the way I really am. Very shy and completely loco. Best to you, Saphirejohns

The shy part i get, the loco part, not so much. Granted there are some very intelligent people from the intellect side that do some crazy things. Regardless, talking with people who think and discuss ideas is a lot more stimulating than talking with someone about people. I believe some of the work i have done is far enough above the intellect of the average person I work with that its merely a misunderstanding. It is mind stimulating doing the work and mind numbing trying to explain what should be common sense. I have met a couple of people that do think and have taken me to a higher level at the same time. Mind stimulation goes a long way. Best to you. J
