I generally replace quite often, but do have a couple of very comfy favourite T-shirts Did you get a new dressing gown  Yes, got a new one before passing my old one on. All ready for the cold weather coming, but I prefer the cold to the 40+ day after day we had.

Wow, that must have been pretty scary.  I do have one other item of clothing I can't part with, although I'll never were it again, which is far older than the dressing gown which I'd forgotten about.

When I arrived in California in the summer of '85 it was cooler than I expect in San Diego, where my ship was homeported. At the Banana Republic, in the now longtime gone downtown mall, whose name escapes me, I purchased a cream cable knit sweater that has pretty much gone all over the world and has retired with me to Toledo Ohio. I don't wear it often but I do wear it. Not the Whole Truth but the truth that I can see.

I have pair of Timberland boots that must be 20 yrs old I bet they are worn in so feel like a pair of slippers.

I have an old fraternity shirt from college thats probably close to 20 years old that I can't part with. I bet it has some fond memories.
