Cravings.

Cravings.

During my pregnancies I never had cravings, but when I am unwell I always get them, and usually for something sweet.

Today the cravings got the better of me, so I had to come out of hibernation and go to the shops.
As well as wanting something sweet, because today's been on the cool side, I craved something hot.

I ended up getting some Cadbury Old Gold (dark chocolate) with a soft gooey peppermint filling, and some frozen Hash Browns.

Do you get cravings when you are unwell, or do you not feel like eating anything?

I have cravings when I'm under the weather or feeling down; I think our subconscious is trying to gee us up a bit and give our system a kick-start. It certainly worked for you and got you out of the house after your period of illness and there was a reward at the end of your 'ordeal'...
Thank you for popping in.
The ordeal is far from over, but I shall enjoy my reward.

I don't have to be sick to be hellish horny.

If I'm ill I eat very little....probably just soup but I drink a lot of water.

It depends what I'm sick with and how long. The food will vary too.

I have a sweet tooth, I love chocolate whether I am well or sick. Have not heard of the bar you mentioned but it sounds good to me .
Hope you are feeling better everyday.

I'm like you. Never have the stuff at home when I crave it, and open the freezer a few times, then decided there's nothing in there I want or too much bother to cook.

Cherries have to be my favorite fruit. Dark chocolate goes with everything.

Getting into soup season here. I have trouble drinking water. The only way I can drink lots of it is very cold with slices of lemon in it.

My ex sister in law lived in America for a number of years (she married an American). Anyway, she gave me a recipe for pecan pie, it is one of my favorite pies.

Chocolate is always the number one craving, but then again............I don't have to be sick to crave that.

I love the taste of pecans. I have promised a friend that I will make her a pecan pie, will probably make it during my two weeks off work. It's expensive buying the ingredients, but well worth it.

I enjoy a bit of fishing, but can't put live bait on the hook, and if I'm lucky enough to catch anything, someone has to take the fish off the hook. So there is no way I would clean the fish.................oh, and it must be filleted.
