It all helps.





I went into the bank today to deposit the money I have collected so far for the Leukemia foundation.

The bank teller thanked me, as her Brother has Leukemia.

I walked out of the bank and burst into tears.

Such a small thing I'm doing to help those in need.

 Even sadder that in this day and age, people need to collect for such things.

Not just the money neither, look at all the effort, manpower, R & D and resources that goes into the weapons industry all for the sole purpose of killing people.

Time we got our priorities right.

I get angry when I hear of the huge amounts that is handed out for stupid things like...the arts, when we have wards in hospitals that are closed as there is no one to staff them due to lack of money.

People unable to buy life saving medication because it's too expensive.
I could go on and on, but I won't.

Guess I'm just glad I can do my bit to help, no matter how small.
