I'm back incase you were wondering. Yes I've been away for a few days, well not away but missing from here. Tuesday afternoon I was playing around on the computer, when it had a giant hissy fit. I thought it was a gonna. Still not sure what happened, and my has been tearing his hair out trying to get it to work again. As you can see, I was able to get back on today, but it still needs a lot of work done. So you will have to excuse me, as there is a giant sea of yellow for me to read through. Boy you have all been very busy. |

This time I had nothing to do with it.  Usually my son says it's something I've done, but this time he was stumped as to what had happened. At least he has got me up and running, and he will fine tune it when he's home in a few days. Have you also had problems with yours?

Don't know what I'll do if/when he gets into the Air Force.  How good are you at explaining things over the phone?

I worry about the yellow too sometimes. But then you pick someone you like, read a few posts, find the interesting one, leave a comment, and Voila! it's all gone white again. Lovely.

Son's got me up and running, but there is still a lot for him to do. Mainly updating everything, as I lost everything that were in places for a computer dummy like me to find. Thank goodness I got myself an external hard drive a few weeks ago, as he was able to transfer my things onto it before everything was wiped.

I did seem to be wondering what I was going to do with myself with all that extra time. It was bad timing, as my knee is still very sore, so I was restricted to what I could do. Both my kids know I'm on here, and my son is such a prude, he would never read anything I had on here.

I think what hurried my son up into doing as much as he has so far, was the threat of me using his. He was scared I would f--k up his one too, as it's always my fault when something goes wrong with mine. So have you backed up?

It's only been a couple of days! Mine's been ok for a while. Sluggish, but ok. But I know it will, as it has in the past, suddenly do a hard shut down in the blink of an eye. And one day won't start up again. Dreading that day as it takes me weeks to re-load everything. I too do back ups to an external hard drive but now I find my so called smart phone has lost all my camera shots! They are backed up, but don't know if they will go back in chronological order or not

I'm getting some disk errors on my machine causing it to run rather slowly compared to what it is supposed to. I have a feeling that at some point in the not so distant future, I'll be needing to replace the hard drive. The cost to replace them today makes it an easier process than reformatting and reloading everything. Trying to replace some of my software will be a total pain in the arse though.

Too much can also be quite boring.  Wasn't even on this site when it crashed.

Put something into her mouth, and that will keep her quiet. You even have to ask permission to do that. She is getting way to bossy. I know now tho don't inflate her helium. When she gets on top She floats away. And has a strange voice.This is not meant to offend any one in any way.
