Remote control!

Have you ever wished, that your life, came with it's very own remote control?
So that at particularly bad times, in our lives, we could just press a button & it would magically take us forwards in time, to see what life had install for us.
Or back, to some wonderful moment, or moments, from our past.
To be able to hit the stop button on life, or on any other bad times, we might be experiencing.
Just so that we could hide out, in certain years from our past, when times may have been, so much easier or a hell of a lot more fun!
To be able to skip through tough times or to pause time, when the going was good.

I know I would very much like, such a contraption!
I'm also betting, that you would like one too?

Life isn't about how many breaths you take, but about the moments that take your breath away!

I think I had one once....When I was going through a particularly bad time everything shut down for me and I think I stopped living....just about succeeded in surviving that's all.

I would love a remote control that could take me back to some special times.

I know how you have felt.
I've been though some bad times, when all I could just about do, is take one breath after another.
But then again, there were lots of times I would love to go back to & live through again.

    No.

The beauty of life is it keeps going. When I'm heading for a train wreck, I like to think that there will be a time to look back and remember. We learn, but to learn, first we must experience.
I think I've experienced enough about the heartaches in life, that I don't need to learn, any more lessons!
That's why I would like my remote control, so that I don't have to have any more, in my life.
So what, if it's running & hiding.
I feel like I deserve a little bit of happiness in my life, for a change.

Great idea! I don't think it would last though - sooner or later, it would be like the immortal words of Robbie Williams: "The pause button's broken on my video."

But you forget, as with all electrical items, you can always update it, for the latest model, if it ever breaks down.

At least if you go forward & don't like what you see, you can always retreat back, into the dim & distant past.
But than again, you might just like, what the future might hold for you.

"No" to forward and "no" to back. I wouldn't want to go forward because I might then avoid a bad situation that eventually led to something wonderful. That has happened to me in the past. I wouldn't want to go back to a good time that I relished because I'm afraid that I would stay there forever.

After all, living is about experiencing many things, both good and bad. They are what make us who we are today, and I think for most of us, it makes us a better person. What doesn't kill us makes us stronger.

I must admit, though, that the thought is tempting.

So you're not adverse to the idea of a remote control then?
In my experience, bad situations, never turn out for the good.
The option of being able to run & hide, in ones past, seems like a wonderful idea to me.

Yes and no .... If I get to "wherever" and end up going titsup I would be even more unhappy !! lol

    regards
But you would know the outcome, of that certain path you took.
So you could go back & change it, for the better.
