HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY!!!-What to grill?
fireworks went off last night at my house!! (love it when fall asleep early)

downside of holiday is that we stay at home while most everyone else goes out and plays.....

So, while the ladies bounce around drinking their light beers....what to the real men grill?
burgers/hotdogs
sausage
chicken
steak
ke-bob
fish
ribs
vegetables/potatos
a little something for everyone
you missed my specialty

 Kids are grown and gone. So are the burgers and hot dogs. Steak, shrimp, potatoes and vegetables for the grown ups.

 My culinary skills suck, if I did cook I would hate to serve it to anyone. The forth is like any other day for me also, but that comes with farming. Have a great day and enjoy yourself

 happy INDEPENDENCE DAY, not just "4th of july".

less letters for retail sale advertising i guess,

kinda like xmas instead of christmas?

anyway, INDEPENDENCE DAY cookouts tend to be larger

and much more about the additional activities than the

"average" cookout weekend, so for this i go simpler -

burgers and dogs,

some chicken breasts for a healthier "bun-able" option,

get everyone fed and happy

and move on with the rest of the evenings festivities.

enjoy your INDEPENDENCE DAY

and remember our veterans and current military/police/fire/medicals

for helping keep america SAFE as well as GREAT.

 Tried my hand at a pork loin -- slow grilled over a smoky fire .. it was pretty dam good
Now there are only two things in life, but I forget what they are.

 I think a lot of folks in the PacNorWest may put a couple of Salmon steaks on the grill. I'm was a kinda " everything the wife says put on the grill"Maybe a row of chicken breast, a few burgers, hot dogs, maybe some corn on the cob! She would be inside making salad of some sort, beans and helping entertain!!
