Writing Fantasies / Erotica
Writing Fantasies / Erotica When you write out sexy stories... do you differentiate in your mind between "fantasy" and "erotica"? If so: how are they different, to you? For me... I view erotica as "sex written to be read" which may or may not be a fantasy. It could be written entirely for the audience with no or little connection with the writer. However a fantasy is something I have personally fantasized about, whether in a general or a very-specific-towards-one-person way. They are, in most cases, things that turn me on immensely. In the writing, in the thinking about, and would in the actual physical doing. Of course once in a while there might be a fantasy written for a specific person which turns me on in the moment but doesn't the rest of the time. I started writing one of those fantasies a few months back. I keep thinking about it, mulling over in my head, thinking "how can I get this on paper?" It was created verbally over the phone for somebody as more of a curiosity thing on my part. "So... you like X. Would W turn you on? Well, how about Y?" Really all I've gotten so far is direct copy from what I remembered of our conversation afterwards. If I could only figure out the magic angle... I'm going to go stare at it a bit more then sleep. I thought I had it all figured out last weekend but apparently I need to rest on it a bit more. Not quite as difficult as writing an "abusive man kills his step 's in punishment" scene in a fiction story. Or at least it shouldn't be... but that scene only took me 45 minutes of crying, and fit throwing, and moral support from a Professor friend that grew up on a farm, and then just writing it out regardless of how horrid it was (ended up not needing the detail in the story itself... but having the background there DID somehow help when the flashback scene happened). This has taken me months. Of course: that was written at 2am in a conference room on a laptop, while I'm trying this on a desktop. That's my excuse: creativity just don't work on a desktop. My brain creates better with a pencil than a pen, and with a laptop than a desktop. Oh: and kneeling on the floor using a bed as a table over sitting at an actual table. I know, excuses, excuses. Goodnight! I'm off to stare at words, then sleep. One day left of my week of Sundays! And then... another Sunday. Woohoo! (and if anybody wonders... my fantasies lately have revolved around what giving oral to one of my A.FF friends would be like. No, I'm not naming names. But hope a few might be warmed by the idea that it might be about you) |

Damn it! I watched a few moments of "the perfect cock" playing on cam (sigh! he turned it off before cumming), then read my "not *MY* fantasy" post and... heck. Even "not my thing" it still turns me on like crazy. Now... off to sleep, frisky as hell.

My senses turn inward so every caress, touch, taste, smell, and climax exists in totality at that moment. When I really get into the process I have physical mindgasms alone with the characters in the story. I get that sometimes when writing a fantasy about a specific person, and sometimes when reading fantasies. Not all the time though. Probably one of the reasons I want to write on the sofa lol it's so much more comfortable to lean back and let sensations wash over me there as it is on my hard computer chair. Dang... now I'm thinking about oral experiences. Sigh.... Yes, I will have a great and fun last Sunday Better get started as 9 hours of it are gone already. {=}

Not that I write much of either but I would agree with your assessment in that fantasies are more personal. I can't really get into "Dick and Jane bang each others brains out." but if it was "AB and Jane bang each others brains out." that's a whole different thing. AB No Bozos

I have written a few erotic stories (that are posted here on LesbianPersonals), but mine tend to be more erotic and less romantic. I have been working on for a while that is more along the lines of a true romance story, but haven't had the inspiration for a while. I kind of agree with foreverhard2, but I also sometimes approach it like putting together a puzzle by writing pieces and then putting them together to form a whole story. By the way, I love the thought of you dreaming and fantasizing about giving oral to an LesbianPersonals friend of yours hoping that it just might be me. Mmmmmmmmmmmmm!! It was hot due to the inspiration of the other party involved. AB No Bozos
