My life has been nothing short of interesting. I have lived in Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia and the good old USA. I decided to settle "back in my roots" of a small town in a rural area. I love it here. The natives are friendly, the weather is terrific (98% of the time) and there really is always something going on. My only immediate traveling desire is to see more of my own country by road. In fact, we (that would be my dog and just returned from driving to San Diego. No schedules, no pre-booked reservations. Whenever possible I have my German Shepherd as company. He is a very people friendly animal, as well as very good with other dogs and with cats (who he basically ignores). My fondest wish would be to own a Ragdoll cat someday. I am a very early riser, happiest with a cup of coffee in my hand, sitting on the front porch watching the world wake. I totally enjoy writing long letters to family and friends. It is such fun to get more than junk mail, isn't it! I enjoy my church on Sunday, having friends in for supper any day of the week. Spontaneous get togethers are usually the best. I read quite a bit, mostly Cussler type. Mississippi has produced some terrific writers. When not considering a screw driver heavy equiptment, I work on various crafts. Quiet is good. Maybe a little Country music for background. Blessed with good health and a quick laugh, I feel pretty good about myself. Fresh caught catfish is one of my favorite meals. Gentle and careing people are important in my life.
